You and your gang have gotten together to conduct the business of ferrets, but you sense someone doesn’t belong. Another ferret, confusing your gang for theirs, is among you! Use your secret code to determine who is unknowingly weaseling into your meeting… and then ferret them out!HOW TO PLAYLook at the secret word shown on the screen. All players have the same secret word, except one player (the Weasel) who has a different word… But no one knows whether they’re a Ferret or the Weasel. Each player simultaneously types in a one-word clue onto their device. This may be any word except the secret word. Once everyone has submitted their clue, the app will reveal the clues to all players. We suggest anything is acceptable as a clue as long as it relates to your word. You can decide what kinds of words are acceptable as clues (names, slang, etc.)Write a good clue, but not a great one. Ideally, Ferrets should write a clue that relates to their word so that the other members of their gang will recognize them. The clue should be vague enough to prevent the Weasel from figuring out the Ferrets’ word. Example: "Dune" can be a give-away for "SAND". A better clue might be "Paper".After the clues are revealed, a timer will start and players will study the submitted clues. All players have until the timer expires to select the name of the player they think is the Weasel. Anyone who thinks they’re the Weasel should select their own name and then guess the Ferrets’ word.Once all players have submitted their guesses, the results are revealed and points are awarded appropriately.Ferrets Score: +1 If they correctly guess the Weasel +1 If ALL Ferrets correctly guess the Weasel +1 If the Weasel did not guess the Ferret word Weasels Score: +1 If they guess that they are the Weasel +1 If any Ferret fails to guess the Weasel +2 if they guess the Ferret word. The game ends after the round limit has been reached (choose 8/10/12 rounds) OR when the point limit has been reached (choose 15/21 points).Be sure to try out some of the variants to the base gameplay, including: Team Weasel: Play with two Weasels instead of one. Ferrets only need to correctly guess one of the two Weasels to earn points. Duel: For two players. It’s possible that no one is a Weasel. Paranoia: Each round there will be the chance that no player is a Weasel.
